Open source rushes in where Microsoft fears to tread

I mentioned two weeks ago that Microsoft was shutting down its user-submitted Office template site.

Now comes word that LibreOffice is ramping up their user-submitted template site.

OpenOffice.org has had one all along, and it holds almost a thousand templates.
