Microsoft redoes SChannel “WinShock” patch KB 2992611, releases MS14-068/KB 3011780 and rollup KB 3000850
You gotta ask yourself…
I’m not at all confident that the KB 2992611 re-release will fix all the problems.
And there’s already one person reporting on the SANS Internet Storm Center that installing KB 3011780 makes Windows Update inoperable on “Windows 2003” machines.

Microsoft does it again, botches KB 2992611 SChannel patch
A litany of problems: TLS hangs intermittently, AWS won’t work, IIS dies, SQL Server crawls on its knees, more.
Aren’t you glad you don’t have Automatic Update turned on? In spite of those warnings from “industry experts” who said you had to install KB 2992611 right away.
The sky isn’t falling, and didn’t fall, unless you heeded those warnings.
