Microsoft pulls botched patch KB 2871630

While many problems remain with other Office patches. Among them KB2760411 and KB2760588, KB2760583, KB 2810048, KB 2810009, KB 2794707.

There’s a reason why this month’s Black Tuesday is so bad – in addition to 36 security patches, Microsoft also sent out 80 NONsecurity patches, through the Automatic Update chute.

I have some suggestions for Microsoft, to minimize the pain they’re inflicting. Unlikely they’ll follow any of it.

They all came out in the Black Tuesday tumble, although one of them isn’t a security patch.
