• Windows 10 Creators Update regresses the Dynamics CRM 2011 bug in IE

  We just began testing Windows 10 Creators Update (1703) and on this version of windows, Microsoft ships the 11.0.40 Update of IE that is affected by this issue, instead of the 11.0.41 version that was fixed.  The 1607 and earlier versions of windows were all patched in April but it looks like 1703 remains unpatched.  I have looked for anyone else having this issue so far but seeing that we are only 3 weeks into the rollout, i’m guessing it hasn’t popped up most places yet.

  Anyone else on the creators update yet seeing any issues in CRM 2011?  Not all the previous issues are popping up for us and some of the issues are new.

  If you’re planning on letting the Creators update roll to your users you may want to do some testing first!  Let me know if anyone else has made any progress on this one.

  Note that none of these patches are going out through Windows Update (at least, not yet). You have to download and install them manually.

  That makes three cumulative updates for Win10 Anniversary Update in the past eight days.
