Amazon Prime deals
While we’re working furiously behind the scenes, trying to get the cert recognized by our server, I’ll be posting here when I find things worth buying during Amazon Prime days — whether they’re on the Amazon site or not.
I’m not going to bother with watches, game consoles, or any of the other stuff that’s bound to be of interest to some of you. Instead, I’ll list the stuff that I, personally, would (and likely will) buy.
Bose Quiet Comfort 25 Noise Cancelling headphones (for Apple), is $ 125. I paid $279 for the same headphones a year ago, and they’re remarkably good. Plan on using a rechargeable AAA battery.
Other than that, I see a lot of cheap electronics that I wouldn’t recommend to a friend….

Amazon Prime day
If you’ve been sitting on your keester, debating about shelling out hard money for an Amazon Echo, you have just a few hours to take advantage of the Amazon Prime day deals.
Echo has been cut 50%, to $89.99. The Dot goes down from $50 to $35. Affiliate links for both are on the right. (Click on an affiliate link, or click one of the Amazon links up in the top right corner, and AskWoody gets a small cut from your purchase. No charge to you.)

Deal on Amazon Prime – ended
I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for years and recommend it to all of my friends.
Amazon had a one-day-only offer on Nov. 18, but it’s over now. (I’m preserving this post because of the comments.) The offer took $20 off the usual $99 one-year fee. Highly recommended
(That’s an affiliate link. If you click that link to go to the Amazon site, and you have cookies enabled – even temporarily – a small percentage of what you spend goes to help keep the lights on around here. The cookie’s supposed to last for 24 hours. There’s no additional charge to you.)
