I forget the procedure, but I think that IrfanView will do it too????? And it too is free. If only the search thingy was on line I am sure that it was talked about in the past.

      Good Morning…
Hey, nice site, I d/l’d a bunch of good stuff…..

BUT….. Got a little cocky, ( I knew better too) and went to the screen saver section. Saw one that look nice and clicked on it to read more info. Quicker that you can say, “Jack-be-naked” it took me to a porn site. The only way I could be out of it was to shut down…..

So…….. watch out. (Dang, I knew better too….)

I would have to agree, I just started to use Avast and was disappointed that it let it in, (ok didn’t let it run ) but like you said, what if for some reason Avast was not running at the time the virus decided to run???!!!??

Hummmmm. I d’l AVG too, maybe should trade over???

The following comment was copied from an Avast! forum board. They were discussing why Avast did not stop the virus on download and not just when trying to open.

      Hey Omik,

I know I come in on this late, but want to comment.
The Eicar virus test is designed to test the ability of an anti-virus to protect your system from embedded viruses that infect a system when OPENED… hence, Avast stoped it right where it is suppossed to.
If the Avast team said it was a bug and it will be fixed, I guess think that they will modify Avast to stop it at an earlier point.
I have used other anti-virus products against Eicar and they also stop it when an attempt is made to OPEN the file.

Hope this helps add something to the explanation given by the Avast team.

      AVAST IS THE BEST !!!

      Good luck.

Would not addresses that you have (if any) tagged as ‘junk’ or ‘adult’ be deleted as they come in, explaining some difference???

I wish it was that easy!
      Ok, here goes….
If I click “Inbox” on the Outlook bar, then click on “inbox” above the messages, it opens the drop down list of files. If I go to the empty “Personal Foldes” that I am trying to delete and right click I get the following:

      Open Folder
      Advance Find
      Rename (this is grayed out)
      New Folder
      Add to Outlook Bar
      Open Personal Folder file
      Close (Grayed out)
      Properties (grayed out)

You will notice there is no Delete option.

      Thank you

    • in reply to: Time formulas (97) #589988

THANKS Andrew and Legare, your posts got me going in the right direction!

Is there a way for easy entry of the minutes. Since this will be a ongoing changing schedule, is there a way to just enter the a number to represent the number of minutes that could be read by the formula?

(enter 15 in a cell and use that number to represent 15 min in the formula?)

      Thanks again!
      Mike
