Thank you for the response and info. However, I’m looking for a simple copy/paste method. I handwrite my passwords but would prefer to be able to copy the screen.

The monitor is a Dell flatscreen, 19″r – E1914H

WMP may be accessing a lower quality stream.
WMP may use a different codec.
Your ears may like the visuals.

Does WMP play high quality local files well? If so it’s likely to be the stream.

I’ll try once more to explain what I’m after:I often cannot navigate in a window (Word, Firefox) until I mouse click in the window. I’m after a keyboard shortcut to emulate that click (I don’t want to switch windows)

Sorry, RetiredGeek, I didn’t better explain what I’m after: I know how to switch between windows & how to select an application.

I don’t know how – if possible – to avoid having to use the mouse to ‘click’ in the open window to have its focus, activate it. I’d like to be able to use the keyboard instead of the mouse for this purpose.

Thanks, beachboybogart. A ‘design thing’ and I’ll live with it and tell my fingers not to be so lazy….clicking a box is good exercise!

I believe the “show more restore points” is necessary for any over 5 days old, but I haven’t been able to find any way to eliminate that step (which I guess is a safety catch?).
