Thanks for your helpful reply – your point about the product key is a good one. I think I will plan to uninstall SBE and follow it with a full install of Premium. I have done some more trolling and found references to a couple of MS utilities on clearing out the registry (your point 2) and I will look for references to migrating files and settings.
