which version do you have installed?

Just went to the ARCHOS site and found that my minihd is a 2G cable and does not work with XP. Thanks for your help.

So if I understand you correctly, I can run SETUP for WIN 98 – actually doing the installation of WIN 98 and then do the reformat of my second partition???

It was WIN 98 SE. Presume I would do that after I reformat the D drive????

Sorry – that is where it is SUPPOSED to be – on my friend’s computer – it ain’t there. I can go to START, RUN and type in SENDTO and it comes up but I can not find it in the file listings.

What does the /SCANNOW after SFC do?

Sorry – been there, done that. When I go back to ACCOUNTS, the password has not been remembered or retained. I have even removed the account and added a new one with no luck. Thanks for the input.

Actually I went much further – I formatted the drive and installed WIN 98 SE. All is well. Thanks for the help.

The OEM is TIGER. It is a GT200. I too got lots of hits for the sound board but nothing from the manufacturer.
