AskWoody LoungerFebruary 13, 2004 at 8:24 pm in reply to: Modifying an existing query using VBA (Access 2000 SR1) #784202Thanks for your suggestion, but I cannot seem to get it to work. I am attaching a sample of the DB. If you have time, would you mind taking a look at it and telling me what I am doing wrong.

AskWoody LoungerThe listview is not the same as a listbox. Although, considering what I am using the Listview for, a ListBox may be a suitable replacement. If you know of any code that would allow me to move one or more items up or down the list of a listbox, I would to have a look at it.
Thanks,

AskWoody LoungerI am not familiar enough with sub-reports to do what you are suggesting. I am attaching an Excel spreadsheet that accomplishes what I need. I prefer to use access because it offers more consistency and is easier to maintain. Please review the spreadsheet and let me know if what I want is possible in Access. The spreadsheet includes sample data and a pivot table that presents the data in the basic format that I need.
Can you help me create the report in Access?
Thanks for your assistance

AskWoody LoungerOffice 2000 has the spreadhsheet controls and it does exactly what I need. Thanks for your help.
My Next question is. Does the spreadsheet control work with Excel 97?
Thanks,

AskWoody LoungerThank you for your examples. The form created in Excel 2002 would not import in to Excel 2000, so I am not sure if it was what I am looking for. The other example worked, but as indicated, it provided no visual indicator. I know that Drag an drop can be added because I have a sheet visibility utility that I downloaded form xl-Logic.com, which uses drag and drop. It is a regular .xla Add-in and not a COM add-in.
The utility can be downloaded from: “http://www.xl-logic.com/pages/addins.html” if you wish to review it.
Thanks for all of your help.
