Thank you for the reply. You’ve probably explained it but I’m still a bit confused. Sorry.

I right clicked on a table, went into the properties, and selected hidden. I just don’t know how to make it appear again. It’s now hidden so I can’t click on it.

I was “playing around” and right clicked on a table but now I don’t know how to make it appear again.

Right Click – Properties – Hidden

Thank you for the reply. I reviewed the previous post and although I did not understand all of it, it doesn’t seem like we’re trying to do the same thing. The excel sample that he sent over noted that the results that he wanted to achieve would still have everything listed below and I need things to fall into a line.

      Thank you for trying though.

      A comma would be great.

So sad, too bad. Thank you, they aren’t going to be happy but at least I can stop spinning my wheels.

I think I know what you mean. I had tried creating a new report using the last name as the group by and then sorted the names. This put all of the (child) names in a vertical list though and I need to have them all fall in a horizonal line. Does that make sense?

For the table, the field names are:

      GroupName
      BillTo
      BillToName

One GroupName may have 10-20 BillTo accounts underneath them.

PLEASE copy me on the answer. I was about to post the same thing. Thanks. tcarriero@thetford.com

I didn’t realize that there was free software to convert to pdf. This is going to help in many ways.

It’s been awhile since I’ve worked in Access so three copies of the final report works fine with me!
      Thanks again.

Yikes! I thought this was coming to a close. So far, Access has been able to do everything that they need…but, they want the final quotes to print in pdf. Can it do that?

    • in reply to: Combo Box (2000) #1133847

I hope I haven’t reached my limit on questions! I can work around this next one but before I do the tap dance it might be better to find out if there’s a better fix. The quote that the sales rep is putting together will need to be printed in triplicate. The footer on one will read Original – Return to File, the second will read Sales Copy and the third Customer Copy. Is there a way to do this without putting together three separate reports?

      Perfect!

I’ve inserted the product subform onto the report. My question is, is there a way to not predefine the space. One quote may have 3 items on it while others may have 100. Can the subform automatically size to fit? It looks kind of tacky. Perhaps it should be approached from a different angle. I’m open to suggestions.

      Thanks again.

That sounds simple enough. Thanks again.

They would like to have the sales reps select the product that they want to add to a quote. They could be selecting 3 items or 300. Once the product has been selected, they want to print it out and send it. Should I have them work in a form or a report or won’t that matter?

      I can’t thank you enough!
