Thank you Hans. I’ll try it.

How do I have the unbound text box fill in the correct field or can I just use the correct field for all of this instead?

      Sorry-
Each member (JDE) can submit multiple requests for our directory. The Reps work off of a form which provides them with a lot of information on the member. If the member indicates that they want to make a change to the directory, the Rep then clicks on the command button which will take them to the subform with the Directory options on it. I need to have the subform stay with the member (JDE) that is on the main form.

I had given my original test database a different name and placed it in a different drive and folder but when it wouldn’t run after numerous tries, I decided to set everything up exactly as you had it in your example so I could copy and past your command on the Run line.

I don’t have this option on my screen: “Run only if logged in”

      Hans,
Is that whole command going on the Run line or is it suppose to be broken up between Run and Start with? I’m probably messing up the slashes, quotes, spaces and I’m not really sure what the ‘x’ is but I’ve tried every combination that I can think of. I’m sorry to ask for more assistance but the status for everything is Could not start.

      Test database saved as:
      C drive
      Access folder
      database: MyDatabase
      macro names: MyMacro

      “C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeMSAccess.exe” “C:AccessMyDatabase.mdb” /x “MyMacro”

      Hello Again 🙂

I did one at a time and Outlook opened in between both. Hopefully that did something.
      Thanks again.

      Hans –
You’re helping me with this question about Access and I have another email in my box from you for Outlook.
      thank you – thank you

I did well with the first part of this but after I got to MSAcess.exe, it moved on and I don’t see where I can type in the second part .
I’m afraid to hit FINISH which make me think that I should probably find out how I cancel a job in the event that I botch up or it’s no longer needed.

I used explorer to open up MSAcess.exe to see what that was and it looks like the normal screen that I get when I want to open or create a new database. Do I select it there? Hey-Hey I may be on to something!

If I schedule multiple jobs are they listed somewhere so I can track everything that I have scheduled?

That wouldn’t run. It couldn’t find cleanfreebusy, whatever that is. 😉

Please check my steps because I’m a rookie.

      Start
      Run
      outlook.exe/cleanfreebusy/cleanreminders

      Thank you for the reply.
We’ve checked the date/time several times and we’re okay there.

I send out a lot of large reports. If by chance they messed with the settings, would they eventually be freed up when the file went through?

Sounds good. The tab control is a good suggestion for this part of the project anyway.
      Thank you for the support.

Hans, you’ve never steared me wrong so I’ll work with it. Would it be possible to get the code to close the subform when it’s lost focus though because there are other times when I’ll need it throughout this project.

      Many thanks,
      Theresa

The sales reps will want to filter and sort a lot of different ways, depending on what product they want to target. I don’t know how that works with multiple tabs. Will they be able to do that and still have everything stay with the same record when they unfilter?

I’ll try to attach a sample print screen. There are several categories and I’m giving them a button for each one so they can see the detail that makes up the dollars. There will be 48 detail buttons. I’m certainly open to suggestions. I’ve only put the first three subforms/cmd buttons on so I could go in a different direction but I’m a rookie.
