Carefully, I select the tab control as suggested, then click view properties and see no font name and font size property.

Unchecked Name Auto-Correct and shaved off 1 minute on the previous 1 1/2 minute form save.

What did I give up by disabling Name Auto-Correct?

Are there any other unnecessary options that can be disabled?

Your right, ak2 defalut is Tahoma, recently converted from a97 and appartenty my default was MS Sans Serif.
