we had a similar problem recently, it was traced to a DLL file that was the wrong version, the name of which I’ve forgotten (I know, thats usefull). We had to completely uninstall, delete the Dll and reinstall IE5, and that took two goes to work. I believe the information was dragged from the MS knowledge base.

links of all descriptions, there are (or seem to be) several type and methods for addressing links but i dont want to search for each type individually. I only want to inform the user that there are links in the document and they will need to be sorted out.

Ive used the matrox twin head card, that works fine. Ive also just done a two card system for the purpose you described. the user runs all his high power stuff on a monitor driven by an AGP Voodoo and the normal stuff on a monitor run from a matrox mystiqueII PCI card, also good results.

The problem with attaching two drive is the input impedance to the amplifier halves (or there abouts), it can work but the sound is not real good.
What about something like a s/b live card, this has three headers for cd, aux and tv. you may well have to rewire the connector to the CD to match up the signals and grounds but it does work.

I have had a few of these passed to me, on one occasion I split the drive case and it live long enough to retrieve the data, or most of it!. One option for very poorly and crashed / formatted disks is lost and found, it can get the data back when the drive has been formatted etc, works great!

This isn’t after a snooze period is it? I sometimes have a problem with my elsa modem if the system has been in doze mode for a couple of hours.
