AskWoody LoungerWe’re running W98 with O2k. We also, initially, lost the Switchboard Manager. Have a look on the text toolbar in Access: Tools / Database Utilities / Switchboard Manager

AskWoody LoungerAs an adjunct to this thread: using the earlier posted process “…to create a table in Access (2000)…” this method brings in duplicate entries – caused by fax and em addresses; moreover it doesn’t bring in Categories nor notes (not that I could find. Delving into Access 2000 you can run a specimen db called Contact.
Whilst it doesn’t import Categories or notes & other fields, it doesn’t create duplicates. There’s a trade-off between these two methods, the Contact db isn’t linked
, but no duplicates, the linked and unlinked don’t have Categories etc.
Seems to be a general fudging on the Categories as I find then VIP.

AskWoody LoungerMany thanks indeed, your link to the Kb article was spot on. I’ve downloaded the AcLicn97.exe and everything is now working properly.
Your help is particulary welcomed. -

AskWoody LoungerMany thanks to you preed & MaryJ for the prompt responses, they were appreciated. I’ll leave the scripting and VBA alone as I am not sure how to.

AskWoody LoungerI want to schedule a completely different meeting to occur based on when the original meeting occurs. I’ll explain a bit more: the “main” appointment (& reminder) occurs on the 3rd Monday every month [this bit is easy]; the appointment leading up to the Monday meeting occurs on the Thursday immediately prior to the Monday. The main problem is that in some months this is the 3rd Thursday and in others the 2nd – hence why the scheduling is based on the Monday.
