The IIF clause works, but i get results with more decimal places than 2, when i try to format the control, the results are not seen any more.If i place the decimal places to 2, this has no effect. Therefore i wll try another approach,
but i think i will have to send another thread

Thank you for the reply.I just wanted to show the problem, but i have cut most of the functions and controls, for example the subform is empty, and therefore maybe the problem is not clear. If you are not statisfied then i will need to send a fuller version. What i want is the following. If you choose for example the client swww and click the report, the report opens, but when you close it the form remains with the client swww, while i want everything to be cleared. In my fuller version, when i choose a client to send an offer, other details also appear and they all stay put, when the report is closed. If you help me build the form and the report so that when i close the report, the form is clean and ready for the new client..

    • in reply to: Multiselect problem (Access 2000) #1056317

Thank you for the reply and please do apologize me for the mistake.I have corrected it.Now when i select the first option and the first client, and then the second option and the second client, the report shows the two clients but they all have the second option which is ‘ checkup”. How can i solve this problem. What i want is to choose for each customer separately the destination, i.e. the option. In my example the first customer should have a destination “visit” and the seocnd customer a destination ” checkup”

    • in reply to: database entry (Access 2000) #1053068

Thank you Hans. When i check out the options in the startup form then i get a well designed window without toolbars. There remains only one toolbar, may be this is the main toolbar namely File- Edit-Insert-Records- Window-Help
can i remove also this toolbar, and get an interface without any toolbars at all ?
