If you depress the Windows key, then depress the ‘u’ key, then the ‘u’ key again you will log off.

It is hard to understand why but I said RED HAMMER too. Can you say what the connection is between the numbers to be added and the tool?

I too have used Mailwasher for quite a while and it has performed well. There is still a filtering process that you must do manually when you review your incoming messages in Mailwasher. But then you can delete the undesirables while retaining the ones you want and then down load just the good stuff to your computer.

I went to the site for the Windows version of 7.0.8 and the download went without hitch. So far so good.
I will report if any glitch occurs as I try to use the new version.

Well guys, I took the step and deleted the register value cited. It will take a bit of time to determine the effect and I hope all will be well. I appreciate the advice offered.

    • in reply to: MailWasher 5.2 #1008916

Thanks Al. I downloaded the new Mailwasher 5.2 without any troubles. I have been using Mailwasher for screening e-mail for a couple of years and so far I have been satisfied with the performance. Being able to delete spam and other undesirable e-mail messages before downloading e-mail has kept my in box clean.

      Kris,
I use Mailwasher and it can prevent spam from being downloaded to your computer. Spam still arrives at the server and you have to click on ‘delete’ but the trash does not get downloaded.

Thanks for this info Joe. I installed it without serious problems. It will take a while to see if it is doing what it is supposed to do.

Edited by HansV to make URL clickable – it’s as easy as putting before and after it – see Help 19.
By the way, HTML ignores leading spaces and extra spaces between words.

      Chuck,
This is a conversion program that will convert just about anything to what you want. Try it out.

Sorry this did not come out as a clickable link. Guess I do not know how to make a link clickable on this forum. But you can type the address in to reach the site.

      Chuck,
To be correct I should have said that a mil is one-one thousandth of an inch. i.e. 1 mil = .001 inches

Multiply mils by 1000 to get the measurement in inches.
