Hi Steve,
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/Template…u=excel&ct=%5B/url%5DThis is the template from the Excel web site that I will use.
I would love to be able to open a contact, click on a tool bar icon and have this invoice form open with the customer’s address, phone number etc automatically filled in. The only manual work would be filling in the billing info. The taxes are already calculated automatically. If this could be done it would be a huge step forward saving time.
Sorry for the lack of info, it -

AskWoody LoungerPeter,
The registry fix works fine and was easy to do, no problem at all. In fact I made a special folder that contains both the on and off registry fix keys and I exported both while in regedit. All I have to do is click on the registry button I want like an on -

AskWoody LoungerSuccess!
Thank you jscher for your time and help. It looks like the security update responsible has reduced the functionality, but at least the registry work around did the trick.

AskWoody LoungerI tried the security settings as well, nothing helped.. No the button did not rise. I found that the fresh install of win 98 did not perform well either so I reformatted and did a fresh install.
To add insult to injury, the full disk backup cannot be used as it is corrupt for some reason, so I have now lost my toolbar settings but the other important files were transferred to the secondary hard drive-all except a few windows files, which of course are not available now. But lol I made another backup previously so I lucked out this time.
All in all the fresh office install #2 works just fine. One problem id with the Intelimouse software, which won

AskWoody LoungerThanks Leif, but I am trying to convert to the winter style. I have the link at the top of the default style page but it does not do anything.
I tried to restore the registry from my previous windows installation and it worked BUT I had an .INF error so the registry could not be used.
Perhaps I have to start over with a fresh outlook .pst file and transfer all files.

AskWoody LoungerThanks J!
My toolbars are restored saving me lots of time. I do have win 98 and the folder is in windows/ application data/ outlook.
By customizing outlook today, I just want to change the page style (winter) and the messages that are displayed, I click on the ‘customize outlook today’ but nothing happens. I tried detect and repair but that did nothing.
