Further to the original post, I have now put my hands on the MO 2003 disc & have tried to perform a “Repair” using it but it fails giving the attached message. Advise please. Dave

Thanks each….sorry a bit belated in expressing appreciation but somehow I did not get a reminder in my IN box to indicate there had been some responses to my original post. ….can’t neglect to say thanks where thanks is certainly due……. fantastic site this for slow learners & quick forgetters like me…..Cheers Dave.

Thanks Joe….. I just performed a fresh search with Secunia and it says there are no threats so something must have rectified itself allowing the patch to download.
If it occurs again I will contact the shop where I had the computer built and show him this thread. Thanks Dave.

I didn’t know there were two flavors. How can I tell which one I am using? Oh, and what is the difference?

Thanks Gents… regarding the uploading faciltity not working, I have just tried again to upload a screen shot of the firefox Add-ons I have installed but it still refuses to accept them. Might not be a bad idea if the ordinary John Doe like me was enlightened regarding the “Advanced Uploader” method for attaching eg a screen shot to a post, any reason why we should be kept in the dark on this function or is it the reserve of MVP’s ? Thanks again anyway….. Dave.

In Firefox, “Default Zoom Level” is a rather new add-on for Firefox (up to version 3.6) which lets you do exactly what you seek. I am using it now even as I post. Text or images can be zoomed, and the settings can be saved per site or globally (for all sites). When only text is selected, images remain as-is. You can fit the enlarged text to the current window size. Or you can zoom the whole page if you like. In Internet Explorer I don’t think there is such a capability.

Thanks each… reading the replies makes me feel rather morbid on two counts, first that I had asked the same question many moons ago but had forgotten the post then the fact that the answer had faded from my memory. Yes I am using the 3.5.7 version of Firefox and have the attached Add-ons installed. Will (again) refresh my mind regarding the replies…Thanks Dave. ps screen shot would no upload ….tried three time…sorry.

Thanks a bunch Kim & Garry, that is exactly what I was wanting to do, obviously I had followed the said directions initially & got the desired tab that avoids using the mouse but (as the saying goes) a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then and so has – it seems – the data from the HD in my head. Sorry for confusing you, I tend to learn how to do things then because they are not something one does regularly, they fade from view. Yes, I usually write these tips down but this happens to be one I have not but will do now so I don’t need to ask again. Thanks again Dave.

Many moons ago in post http://bro.ws/681933LWS Home » Lounge Lobby » Office Applications » Word Processing » Thread”]underline [/url] I asked how to make the line colour -when underlining text- different from that of the text itself and was given step by step directions on how to achieve the task BUT. Since upgrading my computer last month I decided to renew all my keyboard shortcuts and discover that I am unable to drag the “UnderlineColour” title either to a toolbar or to the “Format” tab. I am still using XP Office Proff. 2003. Any obvious reason why it will not drag? I don’t recall it refusing to export when following the directions originally. Thanks Dave.
