This could be hardware related – I am not sure. Try this:
Go to start | run and type sfc /scannow (that will replace bad system files)
      Then download UnPnP.exe
      Read about it at GRC
It may sound like there is no association with Office – but it has worked sometimes with similar office errors in the past.

I do not think that regclean had anything to do with your crucnched graphics problem – why do you think that regclean may be the culprit? I am wondering if perhaps you should boot up in safe mode (press F8 key after memory run and before windows splash screen.) Go to device manager – click on view hidden devices – and remove all video card references – then reboot and reinstall the video driver.
      Other Questions:
      1. What is your monitor refresh rate set at?
      2. Do you use any color profiles?

What do you have for add-ins? (pdfmaker.dot?) Try a repair from control panel | add/remove programs select Microsoft Office – click remove (or change) – then select ‘repair.

    • in reply to: Cannot close IE6 (IE6 SP1) #655625

Is this happening on two operating systems (98 and ME?) Open Windows Explorer | select Folder Options from the View Menu
then click on the View tab and scroll down to Hidden Files and select Show all files | press Apply
Then do a file | find for MSVBVM60.DLL (post versions that you have here)
Also try this: go to start | run and type SFC (system file checker) See instruction for W98 SFC here

Which operating system are you using regclean with (and version of regclean?) If your OS is XP use Regcleaner
You perhaps have a program that is consitently rewriting bad data to the registry. Do a search for undo*.reg How many files do you have? If I am reading the string correctly (S8G9Z220030214104359) it appears that the undoS8G9Z220030214104359.reg is from February 14, 2003. When you find UNDOS8G9Z220030214104359.reg (do not double-click the file) – instead right-click and select edit then copy and paste file here.

From the Internet Explorer menu go to Tools | internet options | programs – do you have Outlook defaulted here?
If that does not work see Slipstick

What version of FP? Do you have IIS installed and you are publishing it locally? OS Windows 2000/XP? Or are you publishing it to a web server externally? If you publish the external site down to your hard drive and save the files there – when you publish again it will compare and publish only the updates you have made (and not the entire site.)

    • in reply to: Front Page (2002) #655613

When you installed FP2002 did you leave out installation of all the Office shared components? (this includes converters and viewers.) If you only installed FP core components then you should be ok to update.
