This gives me a good start. Thanks so much Kim. I don’t really know much about macros, so hadn’t even tried to go that route. Thanks again. Stan.

I think it would be a lot easier for me to show you than to try to explain it. I’m uploading a page showing the type of thing I’m looking at. The work is obviously not mine, but is the best example I could find just now. It would show all the bold words as mistakes, though they would not come to me as bold, only mistakes. I would like to be able to make them bold without manually changing each one.

That’s it. Your advice on using the size option and the arrow keys did the trick. Thanks ever so much. I likely would never have thought of that.

Edited by HansV to remove white space from picture and to reduce width to less than 640 pixels

It looks normal. Just doesn’t do what it is supposed to.

It disappears off the page and the only way I can get it back is to right click on the button in the task bar and choose maximize.

    • in reply to: Outlook main page (2000) #1097787

Nope. If I click on the max button, it just disappears. All I have is either maximized or gone.

    • in reply to: Outlook main page (2000) #1097557

Nope. It’s maximized. Can’t resize at all.

    • in reply to: Outlook main page (2000) #1097449

Can’t resize. Only have the 2 views. Full screen, or nothing.Right click size or move do nothing except put the 4 arrow cursor in upper left corner out of view, and you can’t do anything with it. You can move it, but it doesn’t bring the window back. I have a feeling it is a registry thing, but restoring to an earlier time should have solved that I would think.

I am not familiar with macros or vbs, but I played around with this. Finally got the procedure right I guess, as I was able to strip the music out of the email. Cut it from about 800 k to under 300 so it made a big difference. Unfortuneatly I couldn’t see a way to save it but such is life. Thanks for the help.

I dug a little deeper. The email is composed of 10 files according to the properties. I looked at the source and yes it is a cid

      <BGSOUND balance=0
      src="cid:019701c60054$0e44a370$31ba4046@potter"

I looked at the page you referred me to, but I don't know a thing about macros, so I guess this is about as far as I can go. Thanks so much for the help.

I would like the option to do either, but mainly to strip it.

    • in reply to: Internet Explorer #1002866

I would go for completely disabling it for all but admin profile.

    • in reply to: If formula (Excel 2000) #768311

That is exactly what I want. Now I guess I need to formulate the rest of the cells in H to show nothing if they are zero or above 3. Thank you for your help.

    • in reply to: If formula (Excel 2000) #768213

The formula you gave me keeps giving me an error message. I was unable to clear format of results, because I couldn’t get results because of the error message. The blue cell I was wanting to display currency ( H column)
