Sounds like he is talking about Dell Dock that comes with Dell systems. If so, go to START – All Programs – Dell – Dell Dock. That should restore it.

I am having the same problem as Rebel is. I also have made no chages to the cache settings and have tried clearing it as well as the the history. I think it began after the last securinty updates this month….

Help. I have a spreadsheet that is confusing me. The sheet is used to track accumulated time during a visit. In the attachment, look at cells B31 and B32. I normally enter the time in 24 hour format (ie: 1100, 1400, etc). Every thing is fine until I get to cell B32. when I enter 1100 or 1400 I get 12::00 AM.

Note that I use the same format in cell B31 and it works as it should!

As far as I can tell, the cells are formatted identically.

      Any Ideas??

Thank you Hans. I am a little embarrassed because I had forgotten that I even HAD code in the workbook!

      Thanks again…

Thanks Hans, that is what I will do. I also downloaded the code cleaner and will use it regularly.

Thanks again for ALL of your help.

      That makes sense…. Thank you

Thanks to both of you for the recommendation (Hans) and description (Jan) of why it didn’t work. I’m a little embarrassed in that I didn’t spot the problem myself as the code just above the failure point worked and it had the Application qualifier. Maybe it was just the late hour….

Hans, I failed to say that your suggestion of calling the code in the normal module was workaround. I am curious though, why do you “recommend” this method instead of having the reside directly in ThisWorkbook? Perhaps to keep all of the related code in one module?

      Thank you both again..

Thanks Wolf, that did give me the command I needed. I swear that I tried that but I guess I did it wrong!!!!

OK, I really appreciate all of your help. You all provide a tremendous service to the rest of us.

    • in reply to: ControlSource field being cleared (2000, SP-3) #982774

Thanks again Hans, all three suggestions work and I believe I understand why but if it clears the Controlsource for the listbox when I unload the userform, why not the textbox references also? Is it because I populated the list box in code but not the text boxes??

Also why would this happen only when the VBA Editor is open?

Sorry about all these questions but I really need to understand because I plan on doing more work of this type.

Is there some definitive documentation available that really explains all the ins and outs of userforms in excel??

      Thank you Legare,

I had overlooked that property. It works just right now…

    • in reply to: object invoked has disconnected (2000 – SP 3) #982644

Yes, I have found that out. Thanks… Now if I can find a way to have the OK button work when the user presses the return key without regard to what field the cursor is in….

    • in reply to: object invoked has disconnected (2000 – SP 3) #982323

      Thank you Hans,
      That did it.

I did want the user to only have to click on the list entry desired to update every thing but this works.
