We tried the suggestions in Phil’s post, and sadly, we have no joy in mudville!

Any other ideas! this is the first time we’ve encountered this error!

Dear Hans,

We just did it for real, on the real presentation.

We successfully reduced the file size from 294mg to 23mg! We tested the slide show, and the client couldn’t tell any image quality degradation.

That was fantastic! AND my client was thrilled!

Yes, wherever I paste the paragraph, I get the same behavior. It’s in a user defined style.

I think it has something to do with the referencing aspect of the field codes.

I get the behavior when referring (using the StyleRef field code) to the Chapter Title Style, that has embedded in it, a referral to an H4 (using the StyleRef field code) where the actual numbers reside.

I’m starting of on the GANTT view

I have discovered the copy and paste technique. Did you mean paste into another Project 2000 new project? Or into Excel?

In either case, when I paste into either a new Project or into an Excel worksheet, I lose the column headings.

In Project, data in columns, I am assuming, are hidden, rather than lost.

I’ll attach some screen shots for your info.

I’m also interested in your kind offer about master project subproject setup post back.

Yes, Mailmerge can be a “bear” to use at first.
