Check this…
I can sent you the Word file to test it…
> Create a new document
> Mailmerge
> Current document, catalog
> Datafile is the attached file
> Set up the document
> Make a table of tree coloms, one row
> First cel : ACHTERNAAM
> Second cel : VOORNAAM
> Third cel : BEZOEK_POSTCODE_WOONPLAATS
> Reopen mailmerge window
> Set query/sort options
> Sort on BEZOEK_POSTCODE_WOONPLAATS
> Create merge to new documentYou will see now that the third colomn is incorrect sorted
Close the created document en reopen the merge window
> Open the query/sort window
> Look at the sort options, but don’t change anything
> Create a new merge to new docuemt and see that the column is correctly sortedI hope it will work….. but why?

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 18, 2003 at 5:07 am in reply to: Wrong sorting om Mailmerge (WD 97 SR2 Win 98 SP 2) #716473Hi Phil,
Yes.
I have to run the merge twice to get it right.
So after creating the mergedocument (result) I close that one and run the merge again to create the correct one
(btw, the postalcode field consist in this list of the postalcode and city name like ‘1234 HB Amsterdam’ or ‘B 1234 Brussels’) -

We have dicided to give this to a programmer to create a nice UserForm. Afterwards I hope to take a look to the UserForms and de VBA to learn from it -

AskWoody LoungerHello Stuart,
Will this resize not alter the layout of the document… because we don’t want that.
I just want to print a smaller page layout on an A4 paper. -
WSpjas
AskWoody LoungerHello Hans,
Yes, you are correct but we use two kind of printers currently. On the HP printers we have to reset it for every page (so no solution on a book) and on the Canon printer we don’t have the bypass option.

AskWoody LoungerHello,
Thanks for the reply. The script is running from an oracle database (or something like that) I’m not the programmer, but I promissed to check this out.
We tried this sollution, but it is not working.
This year we will go to Outlook XP, and try it again -
WSpjas
AskWoody LoungerYes Hans,
