No, the form is started form an autoexec macro… but while typing this I checked the macro and it had the property OpenForm set to Read-Only

Hello all,

Is it posible when working in a form to detect if the currecr record is a new or an existing record?
I want to change some attributes depending of the status.

(e.g. if the record is new then the word ADD is shown else the word EDIT is shown on the form)

I searched the knowlae base but did not found….
I’m happy to know it is a known bug, and we had told the uses to use Access when the file gets this big.
But you know how users are…..

We solved it, very simple
We saved the document as template and the problem was solved..
