      Thanks.

That’s what I was looking for. I knew how to do it in WinXP but I could not find the option in Vista.

In the public folder there is no desktop folder. When I try to create one Vista tells me there already is one. I can’t figure out how to make it visible so I can see it to put icons into it.

      Thanks again

      That will work.

      Thanks.

That won’t work because I do have a button on the form to add new records. I just didn’t want the next button to take you to that screen.

      Hans-

I don’t thin that solves my problem.

I want the message – I just don’t want it to go to new record before I get the message.

Switching the size mode to zoom or stretch causes the poor quality. Clip setting is good but then the picture is so big it won’t fit in the box I want to use.

Strange thing is that when I was trying to use the unbound Object Frame box earlier the zoom command worked ok. It is an Image box issue.

I’ll have to think about what to do now.

      The picture linking now works.

Only problem is that the pictures now are not clear. Wavy colored lines throughout. Some setting must be off. Any ideas?

      Thanks again.

      A couple questions Hans –

Not sure what you meant by

Populate it with any picture, then clear the Picture property.

I put a picture in the box but not sure what to do to clear the picture property.

In your code Me.imgPicture.Picture …. The last word picture does not pop up as an option when I add the . Should I still type in Picture.

Also – To make this database work on someone else’s computer, I was going to put both the pictues and the database in a folder “MathScience2007” That way I can just give him the folder with all the parts. What should I use as the path in the pictures in the code.

The pictues are .BMP so I also changed that part of the code

      Thanks.

    • in reply to: Google Video Player (2002/SR3) #1049260

I now have a link to an action command that opens Google Media Player and runs the video.

      The code is

“C:Program FilesGoogleGoogle Video PlayerGoogleVideoPlayer.exe” “C:Documents and SettingspbienMy DocumentsMy VideosGoogle VideosOld Lady Pwnz Mercedes Guy.gvi”

Only issue now is that before the player opens up I get a message box that warns that opening files can be dangerous. Do I want to do it YES or NO.

I can live with the message but I wondered if there is a line of code I could add to the above line to automatically says yes.

      Thanks

I downloaded the converter and that works fine, but…

The AVi file will now play in windows media player when I click on the file to open it.

When I insert the new avi file into PowerPoint, run the show, and try to play the movie it will not play. I can’t figure out what setting is wrong.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks Hans.

It worked. My question related to one you replied to earlier. I can now make google player open up in PowerPoint and run the video.

What I did was create a hyperlink on a slide that goes to the run program command that opens the Google player and runs the video.

The only thing I can’t get rid of is the warning message that pops up. I can live with that.

      Thanks
