It could be that you have language support for just one language installed. Anyway, please check here for more information.

In OE, take a look at Tools > Options > Connection Tab > uncheck “Hang up after sending and receiving”.
      I hope it helps.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > uncheck Enable Personalized Favorites Menu. See if it takes effect immediately, if not you’ll have to restart the computer.

In Word, choose the “Tools” menu and select “Customize”. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select the “Options” tab. Uncheck “Menus show recently used commands first”. I presume the other applications have similar option possibilities.

Well, we’ll cross that XP2 when we come to it or when it comes to us. I think I’ll go on with the nitty-gritty provided Bill and his choir-boys don’t start throwing at us patches, patched patches and more patches on a weekly basis. My ports are ironclad and I never fiddle with firewalls.

Thanks for the quick reply. It’s WWW Vol 6 No 27 and specifically the paragraph you quoted that made me ask if I should change my tactics. Until now, each time a new patch or update was announced, I took the time to read the nitty-gritty and decided if it was relevant or important to my configuration, but I’m not sure if, like it or not, I need to get patched and have to rail, post factum,

Do you have an idea what can/will happen if I don’t ?
