      S, thank you.
I have the Effects button on the Appearances Tab, I was looking for a full-fledged Effects Tab, but that was probably just a Windows 98 souvenir in my imagination.
The Effects button doesn’t have the options I was looking for, but I solved the problem by using TweakUI.

Not exactly. It hasn’t got the options to activate or deactivate menu or windows animations.

As Bruce solved his problem by “borrowing” the index.dat of HansV., I think every index.dat file, provided it comes from PCHEALTHHELPCTROfflineCache, will help. I can post mine, if you like.
By the way, from now on before you run Spider you’ll have to rename that specific index.dat to say, index.da_, because Spider deletes it and, contrary to other index.dat files, it doesn’t get rebuilt. After Spider does its job you can rename it back and msinfo32 will function normally.
      Cheers, Oana

I tried to reproduce it in a document of my own, and the Footer appears even if the document is just one page long (the first page is also the last one).
You can put everything you want in a footer, clips, pictures, files, objects etc. You just insert it between the first pair of quotes. In my document I selected a table and put it in the footer by “Cut and Paste”.
Could you send me your document by private mail , or an example with the bit you want to put in the footer highlighted ?

Sorry, Phil, I assumed you had checked the “Different first page” option.

Go to File > Page Setup > Layout and check under Headers and Footers Different first page.
By “Your Table” I mean whatever it is that you want to put in the footer, i.e. the table with the values from bookmarks and GST calculation.

Don’t forget to switch back to Page Layout or Normal View with Alt-F9.

Cheers and tell me please how it went,
      Oana
