I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and attempted to use IE9 – a disaster to be sure. Uninstalling IE9 is a major task. I will wait at least another 6 to 12 months before moving from IE8 – which by the way has worked very well from day one on my machine. I really appreciate the update information and the overview of IE9 but will wait longer before making any move toward IE9.
As a matter of interest. Windows Secret is the most reliable and truthful publication on the internet. Pass the word.

Great column. I am so happy to hear a reliable source speak about the software that is advertised to “cure” all you ills. My personal decision to not use any of the programs that are listed as a cure all is simple. “If it sounds to good to be true ….” – Thanks for a great column and keep up the great work.

I was a Mozy customer for approximately 2 years. I was relocating to the east coast from Nevada and decided to verify the status of my so called backed up files. To make a long story short, Mozy showed my files as being backed up but when I attempted to dowload the files, Mozy could NOT locate my account. They had all my information but no files were backed up for the entire time I “thought” (and paid for) back-up. Advice – after setting accounts with ANY service – verify that files are available. I am currently a Carbonite customer and more than happy with company and results.
