I got it to work in Outlook 2000! I took out the argument that has the inserts the appointment time (this is a birthday calendar so it wasn’t needed). The template needed to be edited to look good on A4. An I still needed some tweaking of the VBA so that it matched the Aussie date system.

I found out there is also a bug which causes it not to get appointments for the first and last days of the week/month calendar – so I fixed that too.

The edited Outlook Calendar.dot is attached, if you find an bugs let me know.

I have downloaded the template. It says it is for Outlook 98, but I tried it any way. It gives me an error when it is “Getting Calendar Appointments from Outlook” and says “Outlook must running and a valid calendar folder selected” I am doing what it asks. Any ideas on how I could get it to work?

      Thanks

I searched Woody’s Lounge for anything regarding PDF and found this post Make your own PDFs. Brian recommends Free PDF here, and I have since successfully downloaded, installed and used it. As I do not often need to convert to PDF, I have been loking for a cheaper solution than Distiller and I think it is quite a good.

I have found that Outlook 2000 SR-1 prints attachments when you click the print button or click right mouse and then print. Why would my experience be different to everyone else’s?

Crtl+Shift+K makes the text small capitals in my copy of Word 2000 SR-1. Do you know what the new shortcut for autoformatting the text is?

      Thanks

Using MS Publisher Imagesetter or MS Colour Printer (installed by default in Publisher 2000) you can print to a file, the file that it output is a post script file, you can rename it to have the .ps extension. I haven’t tried opening one of these files in PageMaker but they work fine for creating a PDF file.

What you can do is make the image “float” then it is not restricted to be within the margins.

Right click on the picture and choose format picture. Click the Layout tab then set the Wrapping Style to Square. While you are there set the Scale to 100% under Size tab. Then click on OK

You can then set the margins on the page so that when you begin typing you are below the letterhead.

      See the attached Word document.

If you don’t have Acrobat take a look at this post. FreePDF allows you make your own PDFs. Brian recommends Free PDF here, and I have since successfully downloaded, installed and used it.

How do you change to corporate mode? I’ve looked in the help and it says to goto Tools ->Services, but I don’t have the services option.
Edited post a few minutes later: I found it – under Tools, Options, Mail Delivery, Reconfigure mail services. I have now successfully deleted the form. Hooray!

Where can I get Outlook Spy?

      Thanks for your help

      Thanks OldDog

      I’ll try the code.

You manage form from Tools | Options | Other Tab; Advanced btn; Custom Forms btn; Manage Forms btn.

This is what the help said but there is no custom forms button on my copy of Outlook (it is on a stand alone computer if that makes any difference)

      Mary

I have been saving the form in the Journal folder and I can run it from the menu. I have created the macro to add functionality I couldn’t work out how to do in the Script Editor (which is not much more than a text box).

Do you know how I can create the journal item from an Outlook folder rather than a template in the VB Editor?

Do you know how I can delete forms from my folder? Now I have got NHMJournal and NHM Journal on the actions Menu as I published copies with different names.

      Thanks
