I had a good look around (even in the MS Knowledge base) but I couldn’t find a solution.

You might try deleting the *.jsp file (eg. Biz1Logo.jsp) – I can’t think of any other way to delete it.

That’s a new feature in 2002 – but it doesn’t help people like us.

This happens whenever you use code. Have you published the form?

See this thread for details, specifically the solution

Have you compacted the file? This will reduce the file size after you have deleted/archived items.

      See this post for details

    • in reply to: Star Offfice 5.1 – Thoughts? #571678

I have used StarOffice 5.1 and 5.2 – 5.2 does have some improvement and bug fixes. Running StarOffice on our old Pentium 120Mhz / 48Mb ram is painful – it takes ages to load up. But on our newer computer it runs fine. The word processor and drwaing tools are great – I haven’t used the PIM/e-mail client or the browser much though.

You can also just press crtl+enter if you only want a line break rather than a new paragraph. What Western Eagle MJ says is correct

I had the same problem, this thread may be of some help.

    • in reply to: Outlook 2000 – Journal does not work (Outlook 2000) #561507

I assume you have ticked all of the contacts to record the e-mail messages for in the Journal Options, if not tick them.

Have you restarted Outlook and your computer since trying to set up the journal?

Things always seem to work better after a boot up. smile I hope you get it worked out.

      Barry

Your suggestion of using WA stops Outlook splitting up Western Australia into two parts (which is good), but Outlook still puts the suburb under the street address if I put in an enter before the state (which I gues I should do). It also adds a comma in the address before WA. Which as you says Australia Post doesn’t want us to do. If you delete the comma it moves WA to the city field.

      Any more ideas?

Is there a program/add-in that fixes the attachments SP 2 for Outlook, at the Slipstick site I couldn’t find anything. Maybe I just can’t see for the looking smile

      Thanks

    • in reply to: Holiday Merging (Outlook 2000) #559255

Lucas’ advice is correct, I used a nickname field for people’s names eg Greg rather than Gregory in a similar way – just put the merge field in and off you go!

    • in reply to: Journal (OL2002) #559249

I would like to be able to use the journal with other programs. Your suggestion sounds OK, but how would I start to actually do it?

      Thanks for your help.

      Chris

You can add a new field by going to the All Fields tab and add a new field. I don’t know that you can change the names of fields. To view this field you would probably have to create a new form and make it the default for the folder (by going into the properties of the folder).

      Hope that helps

    • in reply to: Can’t access folder #558207

Most times I don’t get and error at all. The folder just doesn’t open at all. Other times there is a message about passwords, permissions etc, but I haven’t been able to reproduce an error message to give you more details.

I can’t browse to the file in Word for example, but I can double click on the file in Windows Explorer and open it that way.

      Thanks for your help

    • in reply to: Default Address Formatting (2000 SP1) #558206

Sorry, if I wasn’t very explanatory in my earlier post.

If I just type in the extra enter after the suburb Outlook the puts the Suburb (Which I file under the City field) in the Street field and puts Western in the City field and Australia in the State field, whenever I edit the address.
