When I press alt+F9 nothing happens — it does not toggle from field code to the information

I did one of the steps sugested in the article that suggested creating a new folder and exporting it to make sure the column heading were correct. I changed email to e-mail and did the CSV again and it worked great. Thanks to everyone for all the quick helpful responses!

thanks–that worked great. Now, any ideas why all the information except the email addresses imported?

The site should hold the info–I have 2 computer, both Windows XP, IE6 and it works on one but not the other so I think it must be some setting but I don’t know what it is. I contacted the site and they said it “should” work but wouldn’t give any further assistance.

I see what you mean but that assigns a month and date and we can’t have that. These are publication dates. One might be an article published on a certain date, another could be an annual report that’s only date is the year and we need to show it that way. I tried replacing the 1s in the formulas with 0 but it didn’t work. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I’m with you on the not keeping 2 copies of data. I suggested using the filters, but she didn’t like that option. I don’t know how to use pivot tables. Can you recomend a good resource for learning how they work? Thanks for your prompt response.
