Looks like I answered my own question. Search for Optional Hyphen under the Special list.

I didn’t know you could reference other cells like that when using conditional formatting. I should have asked here long ago! This is going to be fun.

I thought of using a hyperlink (learned how to do that here in the Lounge years ago) as I was asking the question. I might do that, but the right click thing will do for now. Thanks for the cool trick!

Here’s some unsolicited feedback from somebody who is here to get help, not give. (Believe me, I wish I could be helpful, but I’m not anywhere as savvy as Hans et al!)

I hate the idea of somebody being able to intercept an incorrect password because I often use the same password for many websites. I’m pretty careful about the ones that contain financial or other sensitive information, but other people might not be.

This worked. The tags were fine in the post, but I copied it from my e-mail inbox, where they were a bit mangled. I worked it out, though. Thanks.

First time ever. Never before–NEVER!–have I wanted to do something in Word or Excel that Woody’s Lounge couldn’t figure out how to do.

I really wasn’t clear, was I? Sorry about that.

I have one document that is a glossary. I want to pull out just the terms to create a separate list. (I can manage that part myself.) Then I want to search each chapter (each chapter is a separate Word file) for the words in that list of terms and make them bold wherever they appear.

Darn. That’s what I was afraid of. I was hoping for a way to tell a text box to act as the Title text box.

There are several text boxes on most slides, so I’d have to click on the correct box one slide at a time.

Thanks, Taj. It sounded like such a great idea that I tried it right away. It didn’t give the quality I was looking for, however. So then I followed the link in your post and that led me to http://www.irfanview.com, where I downloaded a free batch conversion tool. I saved the presentation as a bunch of jpegs and then ran the converter which did a fantastic job. Thanks for the lead!
