AskWoody LoungerThank you again Hans,
>Outlook 2003 is a stand-alone application that is installed on a PC as part of Office 2003. Outlook connects to Exchange server via a LAN (local area network), or through a VPN (virtual private network over Internet).
Understood.
>Outlook Web Access is a web client, it runs in your browser (the premium version requires Internet Explorer); you can use it to read work e-mail when away from work.
Also understood.
>Outlook has more features than Outlook Web Access. See the link in my previous reply.
I had noted the differences.I was made aware through a third party, who is an OWA user, that the OWA Contacts folder can be updated but how it is done the third party is unaware: hence my question. Perhaps the Exchange Server administrator has the facility to do so? I will ask him later.

AskWoody LoungerThank you Hans. Can you expand on what you mean by >You’ll need to do that in the Outlook client<?

AskWoody LoungerNovember 25, 2007 at 1:14 am in reply to: Internet connection icon gone walkies (Home/Servic #1085520Hans, Thank you for your reply. What you suggest only affects the LAN icon. It doesn’t bring the Internet connection icon back!

AskWoody LoungerOctober 3, 2007 at 5:36 pm in reply to: Using worksheet data in a Web site (MSO FP 2003 (11.6552.8132) SP2) #1077928I’m glad you can come to terms with your priorities. As I am retired such trivial matters as work make no call on my time! {8;-))
It would seem a monumental task to strip out all the tags and then apply css and as I also use DW MX 2004 I will look at your way of handling the worksheets. ( I don’t think my Web host (my son-in-law!) would be impressed if I wanted to use ASP on his server! )
Also thank you for the css – it is very much appreciated.

I supposed the server was down and would never have thught of checking the Adobe Web site.
Thanks again!

AskWoody LoungerThank you for your response Jerry – no more than I expected. But I had hopes there might be a work-a-round.

AskWoody LoungerThe thread seems to concentrate on the appearance of your site and that is important. But the technical aspect also deserves attention. If you go to:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://w…corating.co.uk/%5B/url%5D
you will find that your page has failed validation and 10 errors in the HTML and what they are listed. I would suggest it’s worth a look particularly if you click the Revalidate button.
