Hi Keith. As far as I’m aware, Packard Bell do not supply an original Windows XP CD as part of their licensing agreement with Microsoft. They do however usually have a hidden partition on the drive from which a full (or partial recovery can be made). They also (I believe) provide the facility for burning this information onto 2 or 3 ‘recovery CDs’ that you can use in the event of a dribe failure (or if you just want the space on your drive back!).

Check your documentation for ‘recovery procedures’ or something similar. Let me know how you get on.

And if it’s NAV 2004 it has product activation just like Windows XP- you’ll need to activate it within 2 weeks or it’ll stop working until you do. Which is nice.

      bummer

Sounds about right Joe, but like he said Andrew, with such little information it could be anything!

Nice one Tony! I’ve been racking my tiny brain to think of the Safety Dance! I can even see the dance in my head, but couldn’t for the life of me think what it was called! As for the others, I knew the artists but couldn’t think of the titles…

Alternatively, a much easier solution is just to switch to Firefox or some other alternative browser… angel
