      Hello Drew, fellow Dallasite
      I haven’t seen your name for a while. Okay – change the left positions. And you would do that by —— ? Remember who your dealing with here. This is my first actual VBA course that I’m taking. compute wink

      joy It’s off! It’s off. The Me.FormFooter.BackColor = was exactly what I was missing. I would blow you a kiss, but I can’t find that smiley.
      Thank you so much! ( I had found the RGB function, but it didn’t work without the other.)

      Thank you Hans, that little piece of info just saved me time and frustration.
      You are appreciated.

      Okay – one big question. Is it even POSSIBLE to change the color of the Form Footer based on the position of the mouse when the Mouse Down event occurs?
      If so – would you feel comfortable giving me a hint where to start looking?

      I couldn’t agree with you more. My biggest problem is I usually can’t find what I need in Help, or on a Search Engine. I usually do find out later that it was there all along.

      Thank you Charlotte,
      This will at least get me started.

      Now that I’ve calmed down – just a bit, the problem isn’t the search engine. It’s me. I really don’t know what to ask for.
      One thing you generous folks might be able to help with, without damaging anyones ethics, is a list of the integers that correspond to colors.
      I’m really not joking. In the five chapters I’ve read in the last two days, there is not one word that relates to the assigned exercise.

      ORDER BY SubBalances.[Account Number];

      This is it. Thanks in advance for your help. Already I think I see a problem, but I will let you confirm or tell me something else.

      Thanks Hans – See what trouble you cause yourself when you only THINK you know what you are doing. For the time being, Lookup fields remain a mystery. But I’m mailing out my report today. Thanks again.
