Thank you. Worked perfectly.

I checked all of my files………and NO, I did not partition the drive on purpose. After I posted, I found out that it had been partitioned when it was installed this spring. Unfortunately, I have never partitioned a drive, so I am about to learn something new. Any pointers?

It shouldn’t have………it is all web based and have been using it for a couple of years.

Well, it worked, but I was having to tweak the settings every few days because My Pictures would go away again and would not let me add it (see attached). So I went through and deleted all instances of NoSMMyPictures in the registry……but I think I screwed up. The link is now on the Start Menu, but when I try to sort the programs list, I do not get the menu when I right click. So I went back and imported by backup registry file, rebooted, but still unable to sort. Ok, can someone help this crazy woman?????!!

I have tried all of the suggestions except this one, and I am leery to do so as this is my business machine, and I would prefer not to upset the proverbial “apple cart”.

I uninstalled Java. I then rebooted. The application is web-based, so there is no uninstall. I then repaired the Office installation. Still receiving these start up logos……

Hey, guys, I still have not been able to find out about this…….I have followed all of the suggestions…………now I am on a mission………..I want to find out what is causing this………….

Thanks for your quick response. However, like I stated in my previous message, that option is not available on the advanced tab. My Docs, My Network, My Computer, etc., but no My Pictures.

I was able to remedy the situation. Thanks for your help. Luckily, I still had the MS Office XP Media Content CD.

See attachment……….the regular icons showing the actual clip are not there……….I must not have something configured correctly.
