This is a very interesting use of VBA and I have learned a great deal. One question though. If a person does not buy an even number (E22), how can you get the lower portion to print the correct number? For example if the client buys 57 items the top portion prints 1 of 57, the lower portion 29.5 of 57. Is the only alternative to make sure the client buys an even number smile

You are correct. Chip’s function works extremely well and is quick.

Hans, I don’t know what the problem was. I originally used Copy and Paste to put the code you provided and got errors. I then decided to delete it and type it in. No errors. Thanks for assistance today. I have learned more about VBA which is a goal of mine.

Again it is the typo in the p0st not in the actual code.

Thanks Hans. Tried to add it to my button 2 and this line For Each ws In This Workbook.Worksheets shows in red. I did remove the Sub UnlockWorkbook as I have the line Private Sub CommandButton2_Click

Your absolutely correct about my typing errors. The code in my worksheet is properly entered.
I would like that the user have to enter the password to unlock the workbook. I have put a button on sheet 1 of my workbook. Just having trouble getting the unlock portion.

Managed to get second button to unlock the sheet, but haven’t yet figured out how to get it to ask for password to unlock.

Missed a space between Page :. Thanks this is really helpful.

Entering the formula in A2 gives me “User ID” not the number I would have expected. Copying down gives me USER ID down the column. When I AutoFilter there are no numbers to select from.

Thanks Hans, but the setting for Custom.dic as mentioned in the Microsoft article is set properly.

    • in reply to: Dynamic Range Average (XP) #1100585

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean. The present formula for Y range is =OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,Datacount,1,7,1) I tried =AVERAGE(OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,Datacount,1,7,1)). This gave me an average and plotted a single point on the chart. What I would like is line running across the chart for the days in question. I checked the chart properties and I have selected a line chart . What am I missing?
