What happens if the facilty list has 2 names the same? I have tried to use this formula on a staff list. If 2 people have the same last name the vlookup will only return the first name from the list. From what I have read this is a draw back to using vlookup. The same happens with an Index/Match. Other than assigning some unique number code to each person, is there another way to handle duplicate names from the data validation list?

As i mentioned, it is something simple. When I copied the sheet over, I did not copy the VBA code that allowed me to enter 750 as 7:55. And this is only the start of the week!!!

Don’t know if it is the best way, but out of frustration I went to Tools, Customize and then dragged the various icons off the bar. If needed, (rarely) I can add them back.

It is a service that my domain host provides. No code necessary. As for the added coment, I’ll check with my relative.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and he still had the probelm. In the end, I copied my normal.dot to his machine and the problem disappeared.
