Unfortunately when I use your formula I get the following result.
      SmithBob Smith Bob
      BrownAlice Brow nAlice
      TurnerDoug Turn erDoug
      SharpMary Sh arpMary
      WilsonDick Wi lsonDick
      StevensSam St evensSam

Works fine for first name and then, well you see the results.

Thanks, the coding worked. Just one question regarding strFirst = Mid(cCell, 1, 99), what does the 99 refer to?

Thanks, i will give it a try.

The names are in the format of last name, first name so why they are not being exported in that way is the reason for the question. Thanks.

The spreadsheet is attached. The code I found on the web. It worked fine in XP and 2000. As you can see you are to click on a cell in Col A and a pop-up calendar should appear. I have allowed macros to run. When I attempt to run it I get Compile Error: Can’t find project or library.

The answer to all three questions is no. I have watched what she is doing and she is merely clicking delete. Our policy is not to allow third party software. She knows nothing about making rules. After just speaking with her, I find that the problem does not happen all the time. Will probably run a D&R to see if this will correct the situation.

Just wondering if in an oft file, you can insert form fields and then protect it as you can in Word. Looking at a way to create an oft where the enduser would only have to insert address and then tab through fields to insert the necessary information such as product name, product id, etc.
      Thanks.

It would appear that Han’s solutiondoes not work. For some reason “Always use this program…..” does not hold when checked. This problem just started happening when we up-graded to Outlook 03. If document is first saved to desktop, Adobe Filler will open it without problem. Going back to an earlier version of Adobe Reader not an option. Also strange that only one user has the problem.

Thanks Hans, but corporate policy will not allow us to download. We use Adobe Form Client which should open them. For this one user only, we have them opening in html format.

Turns out I had two folders for MSOffice Tools. Found the correct folder and was able to turn off Chinese languages. thanks for the help.

I see only the crop marks as in picture B. When I go to Microsoft Office Tools the only thing I see is about Save my Setting Wizard. There is nothing Languages as suggested in the article you mention.
