      John,
Thanks. That’s a nice feature that will be useful. Is there a way you know of to put a button on the toolbar to a Group Schedule? It would be even nicer if the “Current View” could be configured to show a Group Schedule on the Calendar space.

I’ve made a rule as you suggest. Works well. I do have a problem with email sent to me where the To: field contains: “undisclosed-recipients”.

      Thanks again for your help.

Thanks, Jefferson, I’ll check it out. I was hoping I missed something in simply setting up the account. Webmail accounts get their own inbox (and folder structure) but apparently not so with POP3 accounts. Wonder why…

So, I’m not missing something in setting up the account? Has to be done with rules?

      Thanks, John. Much appreciated.

Bob, Thanks for your reply. No, it’s not the same. But on what might be considered the analogous page, I have Outlook set as default.

I’ll assume you’ve been to the VBA forum and searched for Getaddress (or InsertAddress) there. If you have, you’ll discover that no one has yet found a reliable way to do this. For a while I used the questionable “Sendkeys” technique, but that quickly fizzles when the address book list changes. You can try to futzy with the order of the address books in Outlook, but that doesn’t work either. Unless MS has done something about it in Word 2003 (which I doubt since the VBA in 2003 is still VBA 6), you’ll probably meet with the same success as those who failed before you.

    • in reply to: Create a data form (XP) #791441

It’s relatively easy, but you’ll be drawing on several “knowledge sets”. First, you’ll have to determine the presentation approach: a document form or a VBA userform. Document forms are easy to implement (but difficult to implement well) and userforms are harder to learn (since you need to learn some VBA) but are more reliable in the long run. Second, you need to decide on the data file format: a simple CSV text file or something more “binary” like a mdb or xls or maybe even xml! Have fun.

    • in reply to: Fatal Error on opening Publisher (Office Prof 2003) #791433

      Jerome,
I discovered this too. Last night I did a Detect and Repair, but this time with both boxes checked. That fixed it! I agree it’s rather puzzling why restoring to default settings would fix this, but I’m glad it does.

I am getting this error too when I try to ope a pub doc. Publisher 2002 sp2 opens fine, but as soon as I open a file — bam! I wish I could tell you why; maybe someone else will help us. I’ve been all over google. Looks to me like something a critical update has broken.
