I thought I did, but if put a name on the highlighted field, it won’t display the value next to it which is what I wanted to do. I also wanted to make the name a drop down option. Thanks.

      Hello,
I have a spreadsheet that has two sheets. One contains information for dropdown menu and the second is for displaying the information. On the display sheet, I want to populate b2 base on the selection of a1. How can I do it? I thought about a index or vlookup values, but am having trouble with it. Thanks.

Thanks Hans and Tony. Hans formula work perfect. Another questions, can the formula work for two columns and would compare columns say a1:b1 to a2:b2 and count only the unique values for each row.

Thanks Hans for the information. How about when I have a sum, it seems that the addition is short by 1 everytime? Any ideas on how to fix this. By the way thanks for all the help and I hope I am not asking too much.

      Hans,

One more question. How do I have it so it formats with the same as above, but in case the number is negative with the parenthesis and in red? I also have a sum that does not add the totals right. It seems that it is of by 1. How can I fix this? Thanks.
