I don’t know about that Jefferson–the only thing that does is put all of my sister’s emails in italics. That’s because she has this terrible habit of requesting read receipts everytime I receive a message, which has led me to in turn select “Do not ask me about this again” to my sister’s many emails requesting read receipts becuase they are so annoying and I don’t want to see them and have asked her a thousand times not to send them but she refuses to listen. Do you think that could be related? If I were to instead answer all of her read receipts and send back read receipts, would it solve the problem? Does the phantom “sending one of one messages” in the Outbox only appear when I have a draft message to my sister saved in my Drafts?

I can’t figure out how to keep my cd-r “open” in Windows Media Player so I can later add more files. This is way more complicated than it needs to be. I give up.

I have continued to have this problem, even though I am sure that there are no messages that have read receipts attached that are in my Outbox. In fact, I never select the option to have the read receipts activated. Outlook continues to display the message “Sending 1 of 1” whenever I am offline and have nothing in my Outbox and several emails in my drafts.

I found that this could also be done by going into a program like photoship, creating the crop lines, then dropping them into an image into the header/footers in word and setting the image to go behind the document text.

      Here it is!

      Yes.

      YES!

Bluebeam offers three options for Image Compression in the “Save As” Dialogue that pops up when writing to PDF:
      – Photographics (JPEG)
      – Graphics (ZIP)
      – Default

“Graphics (ZIP)” was selected by default. When I instead selected “Default,” the resulting PDF size, which was written at 150 dpi) was reduced from 26.8 mb to 3.39 mb.

      Thank you!

Apparently, the issue was with the particular PDF printer software, because when I tried it in Bluebeam, it came out at 4.25″ x 5.75″ size.

But now I have a different problem. When I was printing with Bullzip PDF, I was able to get my 8.55 mb document into a 3.75 mb PDF. Now that I am using Bluebeam, my 8.55 mb document turns into a 31.7 mb PDF, and this is regardless of whether in the print dialogue I set the DPI to 600, 300, or 200 (and incidentally, the quality of the pictures looks the same in all three close up).

When I print to 72 dpi, it’s still way too big–18.2 mb, and the quality is quite bad (worse than my 3.75 mb Bullzip PDF file).

How can I get the file size down while keeping good image?

      Regards,

      JMT

The TOC was set to Turkish! Thanks x 1,000,000!

    • in reply to: Downloading “Commercial” font #1214903

If I buy this font, will it work in all of my programs, including Photoshop, or only MS Office? Also, will it mess up my system?

On another note, I will be needing this font for use in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and some other programs. Should I download the Windows true type font, Windnows postscript font, or Mac Postscript font?

      Regards,

      JMT

Thanks! I wonder why your post didn’t make it to my inbox though.

Also, why are there dots on the top of the I’s in the TOC 1 style, which is set to all caps? For example, “CHRISTIAN” comes out as “CHRİSTİAN”.

    • in reply to: Supressing page numbers from a TOC #1213552

That works, except that the TOC are no longer links. I have to manually navigate to the chapters. This is my code:

      TOC T “HEADING 2,1,HEADING 1,2,HEADING 3,3” N “2-3

      Is somethign wrong?

    • in reply to: Updates and shut down without my permission #1211191

There was the culprit! It was automatically set to download and install at 3 am each day. I’m really surprised Windows was able to wake up from hibernation at 3 am and perform all those tasks.
P.S. In my Control Panel (Vista Home Premium), it shows up as Windows Update.

    • in reply to: Unread items in Outlook #1210881

Actually, I don’t want the different email accounts to be shown. I simply want the number of read and unread emails in each group to be displayed. For example, under the Yesterday group, next to the word “Yesterday,” I want it to say something like “634 items, 6 unread.” The same for the Last Week group and all the others.

What and where is the message list header? I’m using Outlook 2007.
