you can write a query for the second combo box using the client code in the first combo as the criteria
them use this query as the record source for the second combo box
you can requery the second combo by placing code on the on click of the first combo
something like combo2.requery

how about

if [discount price] = 0 then
[discount price].forecolor = "your background color"
else 
[discount price].forecolor = "your normal font color"

go to Tools Options View then unckeck the Windows in Taskbar box

you could give everyone the same username and pass word in the table
and add in the code so that if username =( what ever you choose) then prompt for
them to enter another username and password

did you try putting it on both the on current and the onopen events

have you tried shelling out to the scanner software

have you tried this without grouping on the date in the query criteria

have you tried a find duplicates query

in the on click of the combo box
text1 = combo1
text2 = combo1.column(1)
text3 = combo1.column(2)

use the onclick of the combo box

the way i do it is to have an opening form where the project number is keyed in then set the query criteria to this form

i’m using 2000 sr1 and the date() works as the control default and with code text1= date()

set the default value of the field to zero

in query design click on view then totals
then set the total section of the field to group by
