Well, the original idea was that the people filling in the survey might not have Access on their computers but they had Word for sure. In the meantime someone suggested a couple of specialized software for this soft of thing. I will probably go with those.
      Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will certainly not use Acrobat for this. In the meantime, someone suggested a couple of specialized software for questionnaire/stats work. I will probably use those, less of a pain.
      Thanks again for your help.

    • Thanks Phil,
The workaround will keep be afloat until the upgrade.

    • Yep! I tried resizing the graph and I am missing about 10% of it on the right side no matter what I do. I will take the problem on to the network admin. Not a user problem. Thanks for your help

Yes! This is what I was looking for. Thanks a bunch Ian.

Yes! There are rules for accounts.
Thanks MJ for sending me down the right path.
      Ta!

Thank you very much for all the information.

Thanks for the advise. I need to get a sense of what the techno terms mean before I hire the expert, just to be able to talk in (almost) the same terms.
One more thing. If I want the database to be on a web site, with people logging in and doing the data entry, printing, queries, all the regular stuff what do I need?

    • in reply to: Acess for multi-users. #518275

Thanks for your answer. We have a database project and I have to know everything about Access before Thursday. I have to suggest what we can do in house and what needs to be contracted out, so bare with me if I ask a lot of questions.
Good to know about SQL servers.
How about projects? I have been reading about it but it is still not clear.
What is Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE)?

    • in reply to: Connect dialog box at start up #516055

Thanks for your help. I told my friend to try all this and it did not change anything. I went to her place and she told me the problem started after she install a card game she found on the net. Turns out a shortcut to the website was put in her startup folder when she downloaded the game and it was trying to log on to the site before starting anything else. I removed it and everything is fine now.

    • in reply to: e-mail stationery to print #508709

      Thanks Geoff,
Printing everything for my clients is not desireable. I am new to HTML. I tried doing this with a picture and after filling in the heading of the message the cursor goes before the picture (logo and coordinates) and then pushes it down. The signature also ends up before the picture. My goal is to have the logo and coordinates on the left while typing a message on the right. All this should print just like a regular letterhead (plus the message heading, but that is OK).
I tried and tried with pictures but was not successful. Lack of knowledge for sure.
      Please help!
