AskWoody LoungerSeptember 22, 2004 at 10:25 am in reply to: Shortcut bar that doesn’t stick (Office 2000-2003) #879935Tks. That did it. It is just strange that installing Word only from the Office 2003 package removed the shortcut from the startup folder. Outlook was still there. With Win XP that has settings for different users I find it more difficult to think of everything when a problem arises.
Tks again. -

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 6, 2004 at 8:40 pm in reply to: page numb on diff odd/even w/columns (Windows XP Office XP) #873794Well I have mastered the beast.
I had different section in my doc. Every chapter starts in a new section at Chapter X page 1. I started by making every section continue the page numbering from the previous section. Then I started making my columns. I went back to the beginning of the section and I told it to start the numbering of the pages at 1. Voil -

AskWoody LoungerYes, thanks Phil.
It would help if I could have a list of all the fields. I am trying to insert the “saluation” i.e. Mr. Ms. as well. I looked and can’t find what it on the MS site. Any idea where I could find it.
Thanks again.
