But that won’t allow me to track 50 users using the same account would it?

Never heard of it i’m afraid so i’m not sure. Will it allow me to ask for the user on login? this came about because there are multiple users (50 +) using the same machine and i want to keep an eye on it’s usage. Not perfect but don’t know any other way of doing it!

Just checked security i’m using “integrated windows security”. I’m new to this sort of thing and really ain’t got a clue, i would’ve thought the administrator would be able to do anything.

      Thanks

Guess what guys, i need your help – again. This time i need to create a GW address book by rolling through data pulled from our Human Resource database. I have a list of the people i need to be in the address book in a excel worksheet. There are about 5000 of them for this particular job but there will be other jobs. I would like to cycle down the list (pulled from a SQL Database) and add the names to a GW address book and then save the address book. Anyone got any idea how to do this? Please help

      Cheers

cheers guys, i think i’ll have a go with Delpi. Are there any other packages that will compile a standalone exe that won’t require an installer. I don’t want the end user to be installing anything, i just want them to be able to run an exe file that will do the lot without worring what Windows OS is on the pc.

      Thanks

I had thought of that but i believe that vb executables use runtime dll’s, not all of the pc’s have these installed. Please tell me if i am talking crap.

      Thanks

Cheers unkamunka but i have already wrote a .VBS file to do it but don’t really want to use this as i know the end user will mess around with it and maybe even start writing their own .vbs files. Also i want to disable all users from running Vbs files later on.

      Thanks

Same problem here, NetGear Rp614V2 router, 2x Win XP machines and a Win Me machine. Restarted the router and cable modem and everything was fine again.
