Alas. the computer is in Mississippi, and I’m in Texas for at least the next two or three months. I believe it has adequate ventilation, but I’m not sure. Only one memory stick. I’m thinking a new computer. Thanks, anyway.

My eyeballs couldn’t find, but the Search thing did. What’s happening is that we are trying to downsize some .jpg’s with PaintShopPro, then open the downsized file in Explorer. We then double-click the file to put it on the browser, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into Framemaker.
But, it’s not working. What I suspect, and clipboard viewer seems to confirm, is that is isn’t going into the clipboard.

A tip from somewhere told me to look alt pchell.com. I did and found out how to remove it. Just use the Program Delete under the Control Panel. I can’t think of the program name (boy, it’s fun to be old), but it’s pretty close to bottom.

Thanks to all that responded. I don’t want it because it takes up screen space. I ran the new AdAware SE last night ( boy, what an improvement over the original) and found 341 things it didn’t like. But I didn’t get back to looking at IE. I”ll post back if it’s still there.

I believe that’s the one I got. I downloaded it., double clicked, then clicked on the resulting .inf file. I’ll check what actually happened when I get home.

How do I find my printer driver? I have an older printer. After downloading an HP patch for XP, and, I think, installing it, how do I check what driver the printer, an HP 1100 Laser, actually has?
It still isn’t printing from the computer (local test page works fine), but I really need to know the driver.
