I’ve used it with no problems at all. Not all of the tweaks are the same as on W95 – ME seems to adapt it slightly – but you can get rid of the shortcut arrows and most of the worthwhile tweaks.

If you also have Access 2000 you could create a simple Database and ‘autoexec’ a report every time it opens (Licence date – 21 days). The beauty of this is that as you think of other things you would like it to do you just extend the queries, reports and inputs.

DenGar, Thanks. I’ve just checked that out and although I’m not on my Windows ME computor I’m sure it’s the answer. Thanks again.

WHen I input the file-name the search button or enter key just does nothing. It doesn’t search at all – no little egg-timers or anything.

If you want to make sure you don’t insert outside the print area of your printer, 1st cover a page entirely in a dark colour and print it. Next measure the bits your printer has missed and then set the page guides (the pink and blue edge lines – I forget what Publisher calls them) to the measurements of your white edges.

Sorry for the late response to your request – I’ve been quite busy. I’m not that technical so I don’t know exactly what happens but twice there has appeared an extra personal folder in Outlook when I discovered back up wouldn’t work. I didn’t create it so it’s an error and I just close it from the Folder list and everything’s OK.

Check that you haven’t created another personal folder when you set off back-up. I don’t know how but mine has done that twice. When I delete the additional folder (which I assume is a half-hearted attempt at starting the back-up somewhere in the system) I can back-up or copy from explorer

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve checked and its not the problem. I think it must ne the printer (HP Laserjet 6l) becos it works fine on an old HP Deskjet. I suppose I could check for updated drivers??
