Thanks. That kind of worked. But, now when I perform a search, instead of a single entry per contact appearing, every email & fax# of a possible contact match appears. How do I limit the search result so that it only shows the name/s?

Thanks for posting a reply Chris. I appreciate it. I forgot to mention in my first post that my PDA is also snyc’d with my Home computer. So, my Office and Home computer have the same info, with regards to the info that is on the PDA that is. Anyway, I still have to get to the office and see how our IT guy did with the reinstall. I’ll keep your ‘hard-reset’ in mind as one of my options. Thanks again.

      Any other ideas out there?

Unfortunately, I had to reinstall all my programs. Before doing this, I reformatted my hard disk and started fresh. Thank you all for participating.

Hi Mark. Thanks for posting. It seems like the programs are intact but I have to confirm this. I haven’t been using my home computer since I re-installed last Monday. I guess I’m dreading the possiblity of having to reinstall all the other programs. If the re-install did an in-place upgrade, then what are my options?

Hi Al. Thanks for posting. Yes I reinstalled XP over the old XP because it had crashed. I’ll try out your suggestions and see what I can dig up.

    • My work computer is tied in to a network. It seems like Rich Text is the only acceptable message format. I’ve tried switching to HTML and Plain Text but it always resets to Rich Text. Word is not set as the editor. In fact, I can’t set Word as the editor. It’s grayed out or not an available option. Is this because of network settings? Or, can I fix this in the computer I’m using?

    • Thanks Dave. My work computer, where I have the problem, is set to Rich Text. Your solution, switching to Plain Text, works. But, I use HTML format in my home computer and I don’t encounter this problem.

Any suggestiongs about my font problem?
